The Italian pass master made his mark in many years for the club, and every year would have its marquee Marchisio momento, with the trademark 'Marchisigoal' highlight going down as one the best ever.

Claudio’s leadership and talent really came through in his work on the pitch - and I’m not just talking about those goals. He was constantly involved with all aspects of play, grafting at the back as well as the front.

It's a real shame that he's now retired, because every Serie A team was greatly improved by his presence.
